Where our story began…
Bonjour !
My name is Cynthia.
Born and raised in a small village of Provence, I moved to the U.S. in 2014 to live with my love and now husband.
(To this day, I’m still asked why I’d ever move away from the South of France. Crazy, right? Ah, l’amour…)
Like many who start a new life in a new country, I eagerly embraced the American culture, its opportunities and way of life. But as time passed, I felt a quiet disconnect from the rhythms and traditions that had shaped me. The long, lingering meals, the simplicity of everyday pleasures, the deep appreciation for beauty in the ordinary… They were my way of life. And I missed them.
To reconnect with my roots, I started a monthly newsletter and called it Best French Forever. It was a love letter to France, celebrating its culture, language, and way of living (I still write it to this today, and you can sign up here). What began as a personal outlet soon resonated with fellow Francophiles who shared my longing for France.
Then, in 2020, as the world came to a halt and travel plans crumbled, I saw how many people felt the loss of connection to a place they loved. That’s when I launched a subscription box filled with treasures from Provence, bringing a little piece of France into homes across the U.S.
But something was still missing…
By 2023, I knew that Provence wasn’t just meant to be delivered in a box—it was meant to be felt, lived, and experienced. So, I pivoted. Instead of bringing Provence to women, I brought women to Provence. I created the Voyage in Provence retreats, immersive experiences where women could step away from the noise, slow down, and rediscover themselves through the art de vivre of my homeland.
For those who couldn’t always travel, I created Le BFF Club, bringing a touch of France to their daily lives, offering monthly gatherings and cultural exchanges to keep the spirit of Provence alive.
My vision for Best French Forever (and you)
By inviting women to experience a slower, richer, more intentional way of living, I hope when they return home, they bring with them:

✨ The intention to savor, rather than rush.
✨ The wisdom to embrace beauty in the everyday.
Because in a world that glorifies hustle, choosing to slow down is, to me, a quiet revolution.
